Springs

DANGER! If you do not have the correct tools and necessary experience, then please do not try to replace or adjust torsion springs.

Garage door torsion springs have a limited lifespan and must be adjusted when necessary. The garage door must stay in the open position when on manual. If not, then the springs need to be adjusted otherwise it will wear out the components on the garage door and on the garage door motor.
This lifespan is determined by the manufacturer of the springs to be 10,000 cycles (1 open & 1 close = 1 cycle).

We can replace you existing battery/ies in your garage door motor with the same size or with a bigger, longer lasting battery.

The bigger battery will make your garage door open and close for longer when you need it, and the battery will last longer before replacement is required.
Yes, most garage door motors can handle bigger batteries. Contact us with the make and model of your garage door motor and we will be able to confirm if it can or not.
