We specialize in the installation of wall top and free standing electric fencing according to manufacturers recommendations!

Electric fence is still the preferred and most cost effective early warning system and deterrent especially if it is properly installed!

Electric fence is not manufactured to be lethal. Legislation is in place to prevent the manufacturers and the installers to manufacture or install any potentially lethal system for security purposes.

How electric fence works? The electric fence makes a complicated loop through the electric fence brackets. The energizer sends out a pulse about every 1.3 seconds and expect it back with in a specific time period and at a specific voltage. If this does not happen then the energizer presumes that the wire is cut and will trigger the alarm or siren.

The energizer is also linked up to a "earth" wire. The earth wire runs parallel with the live wire through the electric fence brackets. Normally every second wire. If the energizer receives the pulse it sends out on the "live" wire back on the earth wire, it presumes that the live and earth wires are touching some where and the energizer will trigger the alarm or siren.

When you touch the live wire you become the shortest route to earth. Up to 10,000V will go through your body to the ground and believe me, it hurts.
